Session Description:

From the time of the publication of her first book on Stevens, On Extended Wings (1969), Helen Vendler has exerted a great influence on criticism of the poet. This roundtable is an occasion for Vendler’s peers to reflect upon her importance to their own scholarship as well as to Stevens studies writ large.
