Professors; James Turk, Canadian Assn. of Univ. Teachers The AAUP has been instrumental in making academic freedom a fundamental professional value in the academy. In this roundtable, participants will discuss individual versus departmental or institutional academic freedom, special issues faced by graduate students and contingent faculty members, and the academic freedom landscape in Canada.
