Session Description:
The MLA challenged the profession to develop foreign language programs in which students achieve proficiency through multiple literacies. With many faculty members lacking the pedagogical expertise to link content and language learning, the challenge is a mandate for comprehensive faculty development. This session considers approaches to developing literacy-based instruction for all, on campus and online.
