Bryan Carter's Annotation:

My talk will focus on how the virtual world of Second Life is used to help bridge the gap between Africana Studies and other disciplines. Through the use of technology, cross cultural and multinational collaboration, Second Life and other virtual environments enable a level of collaboration and community building that is sometimes more difficult in traditional settings.
