Speakers: Marcellus Blount, Columbia Univ.; Meta DuEwa Jones, Univ. of Texas, Austin; John Keene, Northwestern Univ. Session Description: This roundtable discusses new work in black poetics. More specifically, panelists will attend to questions of form and formalism in various genres. Statements will be brief to allow for audience participation and dialogue. How and why might it be useful to think about "black aesthetics" in the current moment?
