Session Description:

Many important lines of inquiry and debate in Mexican studies have been centered on the purported decline of the cultural hegemony of the Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) and on the critique of its legacies and influences. Mexicanists from different generations discuss how the return of the PRI to power changes the presuppositions of Mexican studies.
