In anticipation of the October 2011 PMLA issue on the special topic Celebrity, Fame, Notoriety, four scholars and critics from within and outside the academy will discuss and debate current trends, histories, and personal projects illuminating cultural constructions and myths of celebrity. In addition, the coordinators of the special topic will preview the issue’s wide-ranging contents.
