Session Description: Scholars in Chinese literary and cultural studies will reflect on the state of the field, exploring such topics as the rise of sinophone studies, the trend toward cultural studies and its effect on traditional literary scholarship, Chinese studies and interdisciplinary humanities, and how China's economic rise has affected the landscape of international scholarship on China.
