Are heritage language students placed in the same levels as nonheritage speakers because their college or university does not provide heritage language courses? Are they placed in appropriate heritage language course levels? The panelists will discuss issues about the current status and challenges faced by heritage students and their teachers in community colleges, four-year colleges, and universities across the United States.
