Session Description:

This roundtable aims to consider the place of the Chicago school of literary criticism in recent discussions of the return to form—or, perhaps more accurately, to create such a place. What is the legacy of the Chicago school both in and outside of narrative theory? How might refocusing on the Chicago school help us think about the intersection of form and ethics, rhetoric, history, affect?

Subject: Chicago School
I had no idea this was still alive. My Ph.D. dates from that period and the founders thereof.

Please let me know about this session.
