Subject: Wonderful panel!
A packed room, a subject of understandable interest--and the panel more than met the challenge....I especially liked the point about messianism as a kind of signal of crisis in the field of collective action..but all the talks were succinct and laden with valuable comments. The choice of texts was also unpredictable--it was nice to see The Chaneysville Incident mentioned, The panelists also kept admirably on time! A thrill to go to, and it brought me back to the euphoria of election night!
