Session Description:

This roundtable brings together established and emergent scholars whose research and teaching focus on different parts of the nineteenth century. The speakers will offer short position papers that reassess long-standing debates about the limitations and possibilities offered by such familiar labels as Romantic, Victorian, antebellum, and postbellum.
