128th MLA Annual Convention
Boston, 3–6 January 2013

The convention will begin on Thursday, 3 January, and end on Sunday, 6 January.

All MLA members and others involved in the study or teaching of language and literature must register to attend or participate in meetings, visit the exhibit hall, take part in the job service, or reserve hotel rooms at special MLA rates. The convention program will be available in the fall.

The presidential theme for the 2013 convention in Boston will be Avenues of Access. Read Michael Bérubé’s invitation  to propose sessions on the theme.

The 2014 convention will take place in Chicago from 9 to 12 January 2014.

Registration rates for the 2012 convention were as follows:

Hotel rates for single- and double-bedded rooms ranged from $130 to $149 per night, depending on the hotel. One- and two-bedroom suites ranged from $149 to $499 per night.

Registration and hotel rates for the 2013 convention will be available this summer.
