Transportation in Boston
MLA convention hotels are located in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood, near the John B. Hynes Convention Center (Hynes).
Boston Logan International Airport (Logan) is about four miles from downtown Boston. For airport information, visit www.massport.com/logan-airport/Pages/Default.aspx. Shuttle transportation from Logan to the MLA convention hotels is available from various shuttle companies. The T Commuter Rail connects Boston to Logan; the ride takes about forty minutes from the airport to the Hynes Convention Center station on the Green Line. Taxi stands are located outside each terminal at Boston Logan International Airport. Average fare to downtown Boston is approximately $25–$35, and the ride takes approximately 15–20 minutes depending on traffic conditions and your destination. The Back Bay Amtrak station is the Amtrak station closest to MLA convention hotels and the Hynes and is located two blocks from Copley Square.
