American Antiquarian Society The American Antiquarian Society offers fellowships to scholars to make use of its national library of American history, literature, and culture through 1876.
 American Association of University Women The American Association of University Women Education Fund offers dissertation and postdoc fellowships to women. The association's dissertation fellowship is highly competitive, but at $20,000 for the year, it is one of the most generous fellowships available for female scholars.
 ARIS Student Funding Sources The Student Report by ARIS (Academic Research Information System) is a comprehensive list of student funding opportunities in the humanities, including government and private funding sources. At 207 KB, this is a large file, so if you have a slow connection, it takes a minute or so to download, but the list is worth the wait.
 FinAid This site offers links to multiple financial aid sites, advice on how to avoid scholarship scams, and more. It claims to be "the most comprehensive annotated collection of information about student financial aid on the web."
 Grants in Graduate Studies This database, hosted by New York University, is geared toward graduate students and postgraduates and features information about US government, international, corporate, and private funding agencies.
 The Huntington Library The Huntington Library offers fellowships for projects that make use of its extensive holdings in British and American history, literature, art history, the history of science, and medicine.
 John Carter Brown Library The library offers approximately twenty-five fellowships a year to assist scholars who wish to make use of its collections.
 Nationally Coveted Scholarships, Fellowships and Postdoctoral Awards This site has multiple listings, including categories for African Americans, education, ethnic groups and studies, Hispanic Americans, library studies and history, media communications, Native Americans, study abroad, women, and others. It also has a list of "nationally coveted scholarships." Altogether it is an impressive list of scholarships and fellowships.
 National Women's Studies Association The NWSA offers awards and scholarships in women's studies, including a graduate scholarship award, a lesbian studies award, and a Women of Color Caucus-sponsored essay award.
 Newberry Library Fellowships in the Humanities The Newberry Library in Chicago offers short-term and long-term fellowships in the humanities to scholars whose projects make significant use of its collections.
 University of Maryland, National Scholarships Office Though aimed at University of Maryland students, this site offers scholarship information and links that other students may find helpful as well.
 Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation offers multiple fellowship opportunities for graduate students, including the Andrew W. Mellon Graduate Fellowships in Humanistic Studies for First-Year Doctoral Students, Charlotte W. Newcombe Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships in Ethical or Religious Values, and Postdoctoral Fellowships in the Humanities.
