New Guidelines for Evaluating TranslationsThe MLA Executive Council has approved new guidelines for evaluating translations in hiring, promotion, tenure, and other personnel decisions. The council statement includes questions for reviewers, examples of translations appropriate to different contexts, and advice for candidates presenting a translation for peer review.
