A Message from President Michael Bérubé

In his inaugural message, the incoming 2012–13 MLA president Michael Bérubé offers a snapshot of the association today—from the diversity of its nearly 30,000 members to the wide range of its resources for scholars and teachers. Bérubé invites members and visitors to explore the policy statements, research reports, and guidelines available on the MLA Web site and to use these in making the case for the importance of what MLA members do.
