Banned Books Week

Banned Books Week, which draws attention to the problems of censorship and celebrates the freedom to read, will take place this year from 30 September through 6 October. The MLA is a new cosponsor of this event and encourages MLA members to become involved in events sponsored by their local libraries and schools.
