Report on the MLA Job Information List, 2011–12

The number of jobs advertised in the 2011–12 MLA Job Information List (JIL) rose slightly for the second year in a row, according to a new report. Compared with 2010–11, the number of positions advertised increased by 45 (3.8%) in the English edition and by 33 (3.0%) in the foreign language edition, although the number of jobs advertised in 2011–12 remains a third below the 2007–08 peak.
