Ratification Voting Under Way

At its meeting during the 2011 convention in Los Angeles, the Delegate Assembly approved a constitutional amendment and a resolution. Final approval of these assembly actions depends on the vote of the MLA membership on this year’s ratification ballot. All members in good standing as of 15 April are strongly encouraged to vote. The online ballot is now available in the members-only area of the MLA Web site; requests for paper ballots must reach the coordinator of governance by Monday, 9 May. The deadline for receipt of ratification ballots is 5:00 p.m. (EDT) on 1 June.
