Elections for Division and Discussion Group Executive Committees

At their meetings during the upcoming convention, the executive committees of the MLA’s divisions and discussion groups will take up the matter of nominations for the executive committee elections to be held in fall 2012. Each executive committee must place at least two names in nomination for the regular committee election; at least one of these names must be selected from a list of suggestions put forward by the membership. The executive committees therefore welcome suggestions from the membership. You may make suggestions for the 2012 division and discussion group elections by filling out a simple suggestion form. Suggestions received by 23 December will be forwarded to the executive committees in time for their convention meetings.
