First broadcast in April 1997, What's the Word? was developed to show how the study of language and literature enriches people's lives. Programs cover a wide range of topics and have attracted the attention of directors of public and community radio stations. Currently the program is aired in forty states and overseas. It is also available through the In Touch Network.
