Refund Policy

Membership

Membership cancellation requests must be made within thirty days of receipt of payment. Please contact the membership office (646 576-5151; membership@mla.org).

Web Bookstore Orders

Requests for returns must be made within thirty days of purchase. Prior authorization is required for returns. Please contact the member and customer services office (646 576-5161; bookorders@mla.org) for returns authorization.

Convention Registration

Requests for refunds must be made in writing, accompanied by convention badges, and postmarked no later than 26 December. If you paid by credit card, please supply the credit card number and expiration date in your letter to expedite your refund. Mail requests for refunds to MLA Convention Office, Bowling Green Station, PO Box 107, New York, NY 10274-0107. A $10 service fee is deducted from all refunds.

Exhibit Booth Rental

If an exhibitor is forced to withdraw from participation by 29 August, all sums paid by the exhibitor less a $100 service fee will be refunded. Contact the Exhibits Coordinator (646 576-5262; asmith@mla.org) for refund. No refunds will be issued after 29 August.

Job Information List

Job Information List subscriptions cannot be canceled or refunded. The MLA cannot be responsible for postal delays or failure to deliver an issue. Replacements in such cases are mailed promptly on request.
