Association for Support of Graduate Students
The ASGS offers support to graduate students working on their dissertations and assists "students to plan, initiate and complete their theses or dissertations, produce the highest quality research, write effectively in the proper editorial style, obtain their academic degree(s), and improve their lives throughout the process."

National Association of Graduate-Professional Students
The NAGPS is devoted to promoting the interests and welfare of professional and graduate students at both private and public institutions. The association works with local, state, and national agencies to promote the interests of advanced students. Its work includes a survey of national doctoral programs and educational practices with over 32,000 respondents, an annual conference, and a job bank. Benefits for members include information on low-cost student health insurance, dental and vision plans, and auto insurance.

Organization of Graduate Students in Comparative Literature
Founded in 1997 by graduate students of the University of Massachusetts, this site is primarily directed at students in comparative literature.

Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation
The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building bridges between the humanities and the nonacademic world. It does this in a variety of ways through dozens of programs, including an internship program for humanities graduate students in a wide variety of industries, a mentoring program, and information on postdoctoral careers. The foundation also provides links to resources for those considering a career transition from academia to the world beyond, a list of mentors offering advice about the career transition, and information for those applying for jobs.
