This issue of Profession contains Domna C. Stanton's introduction to her Presidential Forum (held at the 2005 MLA convention) and the essays of forum participants Ariel Dorfman, Ratna Kapur, Julia Kristeva, and Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o. The issue also features a section on collegiality.
