MLA International Bibliography Standalone (ProQuest / Chadwyck-Healey)

Once a search has been executed, you will probably see a listing of citations that fit your criteria. Each citation, or record, contains an author, a title, and a source. Unless you request otherwise, the citations are displayed in reverse chronological order. To view a full record, click on the title.

Citation Format

Citations are presented in a format defined by each vendor of the bibliography. The following fields are displayed in records as appropriate:

Author
Title
Paging
Date of publication
Publication type
Language of source
Subject (or descriptor) terms
Accession (or record) number
Update code

Records for books may also contain

Records for journal articles may also contain

ISSN

Records for dissertation abstracts may also contain

The last three fields were added to the bibliography in 1991.
